PayHub CI/CD & Kubernetes Release Operations
Reliable CI/CD and Helm-based Kubernetes deployments for PayHub ACH and DMS services across local and bank UAT environments.
// ARCHITECTURE_TOPOLOGY
Problem Statement & Context
PayHub releases required consistent deployments across local and Boubyan Bank UAT environments while managing multiple container images, Helm values, and environment-specific configurations. Incorrect image tags or configuration values could block releases, delay testing, and prevent Kubernetes workloads from starting correctly.
Solution & Delivery Approach
Managed GitLab CI/CD pipelines and Helm-based Kubernetes deployments using versioned container images and environment-specific configuration values. Supported release testing, application upgrades, troubleshooting, and post-deployment validation for PayHub ACH and DMS services across local and bank UAT environments.
Engineering Challenges & Resolution
Investigated and resolved deployment issues involving unavailable or mismatched container image tags, incorrect Helm value types, Kubernetes security policies, job configuration and label mismatches, startup probe failures, and post-deployment restart behaviour. Coordinated with development and support teams to correct configurations and complete releases successfully.
// Key_OUTCOMES
- ✓Supported successful ACH and DMS releases across local and Boubyan Bank testing environments.
- ✓Improved release consistency and traceability by maintaining aligned container image versions across CI/CD and deployment stages.
- ✓Resolved deployment blockers and restored affected Kubernetes workloads to a healthy operational state.
